Barely a week after calling Sanatan Dharma dengue and malaria, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin’s son and DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Monday shared a picture of mosquito repellent on X, earlier known as Twitter.

Earlier on September 2, Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Youth Welfare Minister in MK Stalin’s cabinet, had said that Sanatana Dharma is like malaria and dengue and so it must be eradicated and not merely opposed.

“I congratulate the organisers for calling the conference as ‘eradicate Sanatana Dharma’ instead of ‘opposing Sanatana Dharma,” the DMK leader had said. “There are some things which we have to eradicate and we can’t merely oppose. Mosquitoes, dengue fever, malaria, corona, all these are things which we cannot oppose, we have to eradicate them. Sanatanam is also like this.”

Later, standing firm on his statement calling for the eradication of Sanatana Dharma, Stalin said that he was ready to present the extensive writings of E.V. Ramasamy (called ‘Periyar’ by his supporters) and B. R. Ambedkar on the subject.
