A woman leader of Assam BJP allegedly died by suicide in Guwahati after intimate photos with a party leader surfaced online.

Assam BJP’s Kisan Morcha secretary Indrani Tahbildar was found dead at her residence in Bamunimaidam in Guwahati on Friday, police said.

Tahbildar reportedly committed suicide by taking a drug overdose at around 5.30 on August 11.

As per reports, the photos of Tahbildar in an intimate moment with a BJP leader had gone viral on social media earlier in the day. Tahbildar was having an extramarital relationship with the party leader who was staying at her residence as a tenant.
