BJP MP and Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has been served a notice by the Bank of Baroda in connection with dues pending of more than Rs 55 crore.
The notice put out by the bank in a newspaper also indicates that his bungalow in Juhu, Sunny Villa, will be e-auctioned for non-payment of dues on September 25.
His father Dharmendra has also been named as a guarantor. The bank has put Sunny Deol’s Juhu property for auction for recovery of unpaid dues.
As per a report by Times Now, the bank released an advertisement for the auction and mentioned that the recovery of the loan is Rs 55 crore and interest. The auction is slated for September 25 at the reserve price of Rs 51.43 crore.
The advertisement named Ajay Singh Deol aka Sunny Deol as the borrower/guarantor.
Sunny Villa is located at Gandhi Gram Road in Mumbai’s Juhu.
