A prominent Hindu temple in Canada’s British Columbia was vandalised by Khalistanis on Saturday. The temple, Lakshmi Narayan Mandir in Surrey, is one of the biggest and oldest Hindu temples in British Columbia.
Khalistan referendum posters were also pasted on the main door of the temple at midnight on Saturday.
The posters put up by the Khalistanis read, “Canada investigates India’s role in June 18th assassination”. The poster at the door also had a photo of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Nijjar was killed by two unidentified men on the premises of the gurdwara on June 18 evening.
This is the third incident of Hindu temple vandalisation in Canada this year. On January 31, a prominent Hindu temple in Canada’s Brampton was vandalised. In April this year, another Hindu temple in Canada’s Ontario was vandalised.
