Amid the massive violence by Muslims in Haryana’s Nuh, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the citizens should cooperate in the interest of the state by following the principle of “Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek”.

Asserting that all issues can be resolved through dialogue, Khattar said that in the kind of situation that has arisen in Nuh, the responsibility of every common citizen towards society increases further.

On Tuesday, state Home Minister Anil Vij said that both communities have been living in Nuh peacefully for a long time and that there is a conspiracy behind the violence.

“The situation in Nuh is under control, and a curfew has been imposed in the district… Both communities have been living in Nuh peacefully for a long time. There is a conspiracy behind this. The way stones, weapons, and bullets were found, it seems there is a mastermind behind this. We will conduct a detailed investigation and take strict action against the people involved in this,” Vij said while speaking to ANI.

Five people have been killed and over 50 others, including policemen, have been injured in the violence that broke out in Nuh on Monday evening. The violence began after the Muslim mob pelted stones and set cars on fire.
