A 45-year-old street vendor named Ram Vilas was beaten to death by a Muslim mob in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri’s C Block area. Besides, stones were also pelted in the area in which some others were also left injured.

As per a report by Zee News, stones were also pelted on Thursday night in a communal clash between Muslims and Hindus in which one person got injured.  Later, after the communal clash, Ram Vilas got into a small altercation with some local Muslims over where to place his onion cart on the street. After which they viciously beat him to death.

Ram Vilas, who used to sell onions in the area on a cart. The argument between Ram Vilas and an e-rickshaw driver started over sidelining the cart.  After this, he was beaten badly by the mob. His son took him to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

“A quarrel was happening nearby when I, along with my husband, were selling onions. The police told us to wrap up the cart due to the clash. An e-rickshaw driver parked his vehicle there. When my husband asked the e-rickshaw driver to remove his vehicle, he started to argue with him and also beat him up. My husband has died. I have 4 kids, how will I feed my kids now.No one left to work,” Ram Vilas’s wife told the media.
