Govt-controlled Kashi Vishwanath temple has decided to take fees from devotees for the ‘Sparsh Darshan’ of the Shivling. As per a report by Dainik Jagran, the temple administration is pondering upon the fees which might be kept between Rs 500 to Rs 1000. During the trial of the same, Rs 500 were taken from the devotees. The new rules will be implemented soon.
Currently, ‘Sparsh Darshan’ can be done freely by all devotees between 4 am to 5 am and 4 pm to 6 pm after Mangal Aarti.
