Israeli Defence Minister Yoev Gallant said that Israel will win the war that Hamas has started this morning.
“Hamas has made a grave mistake this morning and launched a war against the State of Israel,” Gallant said in a statement.
“IDF troops (Israeli army) are fighting against the enemy at every location,” he said, adding, “I call on all of Israel’s citizens to follow security instructions. The State of Israel will win this war.”
Meanwhile, Israel has launched a counterattack on Gaza. “In response to the barrages of rockets launched by Hamas from Gaza at Israel, the IDF is currently striking Hamas targets in Gaza,” the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said.
Earlier on Saturday morning, Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip launched massive rocket barrages at southern and central Israel. As per reports, the toll in the Hamas rocket fire from the Gaza Strip into Israel climbed to 22 which is expected to rise.
