SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya on Monday said that Hindu is not religion but deception.

“Hindu bus ek dhokha hai (Hindu is deception). The Supreme Court said in an order in 1995 that Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life. Not only this, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has said twice that there is no religion called Hindu Dharma but instead, it is a way of living. Prime Minister Modi has also said that there is no Hindu religion,” Maurya said.

“Sentiments don’t get hurt when these people make such statements but if Swami Prasad Maurya says that Hindu is not religion but deception and what is called Hindu Dharma is business for some people, it causes unrest in the ocuntry,” he further said.

“When the same thing is said by Bhagwat Ji, PM Modi Ji, no one’s sentiments get hurt,” he added.
