A teacher of Shri Bal Vigyan Shishu Vihar Higher Secondary School located in MP’s Indore slapped a student for applying Tilak on his foreheads and sent him back.

As per reports, 6-7 students on Saturday had come to the school with Tilak on their foreheads.

Padma Sisodiya, the teacher, also threatened children to not come to school with a Tilak on their foreheads from the next day else TC will be issued to them.

After this, the parents of the students along with concerned Hindus reached the school and staged a protest.

The principal reportedly said that there is no rule of ban on applying Tilak but “we do not want Dharmvaad in the school”.

Relatives of the students said that children visit a temple in the morning before going to school and then go directly to the school.
