The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a number of senior terrorists in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist movement in airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, declaring the launch of Operation ‘Shield and Arrow’. At least three top terrorists have been killed in the operation.
“Terrorism is a threat to civilians everywhere. Islamic Jihad and its leaders have been threatening the security of Israelis for too long. The IDF has launched a targeted campaign against Islamic Jihad in Gaza,” the IDF said in a tweet.
