On Tuesday, ten Vaishno Devi pilgrims were killed and 57 others were injured as their double-decker bus fell into a gorge after skidding off the road and ramming into the railing of a bridge in Jammu. Officials said the bus, which was on its way to Katra from Amritsar, met with the accident in the Jhajjar Kotli area. The 57 injured have been admitted to the GMC hospital in Jammu and two of them are critical. Most of the travellers were from Bihar’s Lakhisarai.
