On Tuesday, Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district observed a complete shutdown against recent Islamic terror attacks in Rajouri in which six Hindus including two children were killed. The Sanatan Dharam Sabha had called for the shutdown and received support from the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal.

Further, the Jammu and Kashmir Bar Association announced that it will suspend all court, tribunal, commission, and revenue court operations on Wednesday in protest against the recent terror attacks.

On Sunday evening in Rajouri’s Upper Dangri village, two Islamic terrorists broke into the houses of the Hindus and fired indiscriminately in which four Hindus got killed and several others got seriously injured. As per reports, terrorists fired after confirming their identities through their Aadhaar cards.

The next day, on Monday morning, two Hindu children lost their lives and four people got seriously injured in an IED blast in the same village.

Earlier, on Monday, Ikkjutt Jammu, a growing political party, demanded Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to apologize for falsely claiming that Jammu is almost terror-free and people should stop seeing killings in Jammu & Kashmir on the basis of religion. The party president Ankur Sharma also blamed the BJP for the continuous killing of Hindus by the Islamists in the country.

“Hindu Genocide continuous due to: a. BJP’s Muslim Appeasement & Govt’s Inaction against Radicalisation. b. Denial of Hindu Genocide by Indian State. c. Repeated lies by LG & HM about State of Terrorism,” Sharma had tweeted on Sunday.
