Kanwar Yatra organised in Japan; Gangajal taken from Bihar’s Sultanganj

A Kanwar Yatra has been organised in Japan’s Tokyo. The Yatra was inaugurated by the Ambassador of India to Japan, Sibi George, and Anand Vijay Singh, the Head of the Bihar Foundation Japan Chapter. The Gangajal for the yatra has been brought from Bihar’s Sultanganj.

The yatra will start from Shri Radha Krishna Temple in Tokyo and proceed to Saitama Shiva Temple, where abhishekam of God Mahadev will be done.

“For the first time outside India, the Kanwar Yatra has been started across the seven seas in the capital of Japan, Tokyo, to offer water to Lord Bholenath in the month of Sawan. It is being organised by the Bihar-Jharkhand Association of Japan. Ambassador of India to Japan CB George inaugurated the Kanwar Yatra with Anand Vijay Singh, Head of Bihar-Jharkhand Association and Bihar Foundation in Japan, as the chief guest. Anand Vijay Singh said that Gangajal has been brought from Bihar’s Sultanganj for the Kanwar Yatra,” the Bihar Foundation said on Monday.
