In a very disturbing incident, a severed cow head was found lying in the middle of a road in Sirsi tehsil of Uttar Kannada district in Karnataka.

The sad and angry local population of Hindus called the police. As per reports, the investigation is on but no clue about the culprits yet.

Hindu organisations had formally requested the administration to keep vigil during the Islamic event of Eid-ul-Juha to stop any attempt at cow slaughter.
