Three Indian army soldiers lost their lives when an Indian Army company operating base was attacked by Islamic terrorists on August 11, 2022. The terrorists carried out the attack at Pargal in the Darhal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district. Both the terrorists who were trying to breach the army operating base were gunned out by the security forces.

As per the statement given by the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh:

Someone (terrorists) tried to cross the fence of Army camp at Pargal. Sentry challenged and exchange of fire took place.

Two jawans were also injured in the attack and are currently being treated at an army hospital.
