In another targeted attack on Hindus in the Kashmir valley, at least three Hindus were critically injured after being shot at by Islamists in the Gagran area of Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir. All three were rushed to SMHS Hospital Srinagar immediately after the incident. The victims have been identified as Anmol Kumar, Pintu Kumar Thakur, and Heralal Yadav. They were working as labourers.
“#Terrorists fired upon three outside #labourers in #Shopian. Injured persons are Anmol Kumar, Pintu Kumar Thakur and Heralal Yadav, all residents of Distt Supaul, Bihar, being shifted to hospital. Cordon being launched,” Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet on Thursday evening.
The attack took place in the evening. The terrorists managed to take advantage of the darkness and fled from the spot.
