The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has given sanction to prosecute Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia under the Prevention of Corruption Act in connection with the ‘Feedback Unit (FBU) snooping case’.

Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena had approved the CBI’s request for prosecution sanction and forwarded the same to MHA after the agency sought sanction to register an FIR against Sisodia. The MHA letter sanctioning Sisodia’s prosecution came on 17 February.
