On Tuesday, three Muslims were arrested for spitting on the Mahakal procession from their balcony in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjian. The incident occurred on July 17, the second Monday of holy Sawan month, when the procession of Baba Mahakaal was travelling along the Shipra River when it crossed the Kharakuan Police Station area.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. In the viral video, three Muslim youths can be seen spitting on the Mahakal procession from their balcony.

Later, after the procession was complete, concerned Hindus reached the police station and filed a complaint under Sections 295A, 153A, 296, and 505 of the Indian Penal Code.

They also staged a protest, demanding strict action against the culprits.
