On Wednesday, a court in Haryana’s Nuh granted regular bail to Congress MLA Mamman Khan in two cases linked to the Nuh violence.
Khan, who was arrested on September 15, was released on interim bail on October 3.
The court had granted Khan interim bail till October 18 in the two cases rand on Wednesday he got regular bail in both the cases.
The police said he was accused of provoking people and inciting violence.
Four FIRs were registered against Khan. He had earlier been granted bail in two other cases by another court, his counsel Tahir Hussain Devla said.
Three Hindu civilians and two policemen were murdered and over fifty others were injured in the systematic violence by Muslims in Nuh on July 31. As part of the pre-planned organised violence, Muslim mobs attacked Hindu devotees, pelted stones, threw petrol bombs, fired bullets, and set vehicles, police stations, and government buildings on fire.
