Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged people to extend support to the Har Ghar Tiranga movement by changing the DP of social media accounts to tricolour. He further said that the exercise will deepen the bond between our country and us.
“In the spirit of the #HarGharTiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us,” Modi posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
PM Modi also changed the display picture of his social media accounts to the national flag.
Earlier, the Prime Minister also asked Indians to upload their selfie with the national flag on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ website.
“The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has added new energy to the Amrit Mahotsav of the Independence. The countrymen have to take this campaign to a new height this year. Come, Let’s hoist the national flag, the symbol of pride of the country, between 13 and 15 August. Must also upload your selfie with tricolor on harghartiranga.com,” Modi said on Friday.
