On Monday night, a Nihang Sikh in Punjab’s Kapurthala district allegedly murdered a man over the suspicion that he committed sacrilege at the Gurudwara Sri Chaura Khooh Sahib in Phagwara.
As per a report by The Indian Express, Ramandeep Singh Mangu Math, uploaded a video of the man before allegedly murdering him and locked himself inside the gurudwara. Math claimed that the man was sent to the gurudwara to commit sacrilege.
The police have reached the spot and recovered the body of the man but he has not been identified yet. The accused is also yet to be arrested.
The gurudwara belongs to Sikh guru Guru Hargobind Sahib.
