US President Joe Biden on Friday said that Russian President Vladimir Putin has committed war crimes and that the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) decision to issue an arrest warrant for him was justified. “It (ICC) is not recognised internationally by us either. But I think it makes a very strong point,” Biden added.

The ICC earlier on Friday called for Putin’s arrest for his alleged involvement in the unlawful deportation and transfer of children from Ukraine to Russia after the start of the Ukraine-Russia war in February 2022.
