A man named B Ambadas alias Anjaiah was set on fire by his friend Md Shabbir for applying colours on him. The incident happened at Marpally of Regonda in Telangana’s Medak district on Tuesday during Holi celebrations, TOI has reported. “The victim was shifted to Osmania General Hospital. He suffered 40% burns and his condition is stable,” police said.

Shabbir has been taken into custody and a case has been registered under Section 307 of the IPC.
