Miss Universe Netherlands 2023 title has been conferred upon a transgender model Rikkie Valerie Kollé on Saturday at the AFAS Theater in Leusden. He succeeded Ona Moody and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador.
In this beauty pageant competition, 26-year-old Nathalie Mogbelzada from Amsterdam claimed the title of first runner-up, while Habiba Mostafa was awarded Miss Congeniality and Lou Dirchs received the Miss Social Media title.
Rikkie Valerie Kollé becomes the second transgender contestant to participate in the Miss Universe pageant. Earlier, transgender Angela Ponce had won Miss Universe Spain in 2018.
