App researcher Nima Owji had previously indicated that Twitter is developing an in-app currency called “Coins.” However, it is currently uncertain when the platform will launch this feature. In addition, researcher Jane Manchun Wong had previously revealed that the company was working on a feature called “Tweet Awards.” According to an image shared by Wong, users will be able to purchase gifts for a range of one coin to 5,000 coins.
