Congress leader Udit Raj said on Wednesday that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s opinion about Sanatan Dharma is the same as Ambedkar’s opinion.
“Udhayanidhi Stalin’s opinion about Sanatan Dharma is the same as Dr. Ambedkar’s; the methods may be different. He (Ambedkar) left Sanatan Dharma and adopted Buddhism. If you come to know about Dr. Ambedkar’s comments and thoughts, you will become more upset,” Raj said in a post on X.
This came days after DMK minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said that “Sanatana Dharma is like malaria and dengue, and so it must be eradicated and not merely opposed”.
On the reports of the Centre planning to remove ‘India’ from the Constitution Raj said that the BJP hates it (‘India’) because the name was given by Ambedkar.
“Since India name was suggested by Dr Ambedkar and that is the reason BJP hates,” he said in another post on X.
Earlier on Tuesday, Raj said, “BJP hates Constitution, one of the reasons is that Dr B R Ambedkar name is associated and it is evident in replacing India with Bharat . India and Bharat name was adopted by the constituent assembly”.
